Reason and Prerequisites
To avoid loosing the items during change processing perform the attached customizing settings.
Solution
Please adjust the customizing as follows:
Go into SAP Reference IMG -> CRM -> Financial Services -> Basic Functions -> Cross-Item Functions -> Cross-Item Processing for Changes to Transaction -> Monitor Profile -> Define and Assign Monitor Profile: Choose Assign Monitor Profile and add the following entries:

Go further to CRM -> Financial Services -> Leasing -> Change Processes -> Basic Settings for Change Processes -> Make Settings for Change Processes:
Choose Business TransactionCat.Header BUS2000114
TransactionCat.Item BUS2000137
and Change Process: BLEX resp. RESC (depending on rel.) and make sure that the Flag for “Automatic Acceptance” within Change Process Control: Document Flow Processing is taken out.

Furthermore go into CRM -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Item Categories: Choose LSCQ and go into the details of the Customizing Item for BUS2000115 Sales: Within the section “Quotation Data” make sure that for Subsequ.processing “Quotation status is reset” is the entry.
Then go under CRM -> Transactions -> Basis Settings -> Copying Control for Business Transactions -> Define Item Category Determination when Copying. Add the following entries:
