Symptom

You are going to install CRM 7.0 on a Windows Server 2003 release.
You already have an installation of CRM 7.0 on Windows Server 2003.
Please note:
CRM 7.0 is not supported for Windows Server 2003 because severe memory issues are to be expected. Therefore you will not find a release information in the Product Availibility Matrix (PAM).

Reason and Prerequisites

For general use CRM 7.0 in combination with Windows Server 2003 is not supported by SAP. SAP would expose customers to a too high risk by allowing Windows Server 2003 because severe performance issues are to be expected.
Solution

In very special cases SAP will give customers an individual release approval for CRM 7.0 on Windows Server 2003 if certain requirements are fullfilled:
There is a significant business impactYou are not using IPCYou are not consuming large amounts of memory in your SAP application servers (large ABAP objects buffer, large pxa buffers, etc.)If you encounter severe memory issues (peformance degradations) you have to migrate to Windows Server 2008.
