Symptom

As of CRM 7.0, the so called customizationList (”Your current selection”) that shows the current status of the configuration becomes only visible when the user clicks on “preview”.

Solution

SAP now delivers an example how to display the customizationList as in previous releases next to the so called work area, where the user enters the characteristic values.
The solution is to display the customizationList at the place for the dynamic product picture.
1. define in XCM appearance.dynamicproductpicture = T
2. list all the configurable root products in
WEB-INF/ipc/dynamicProducts.xml
3. define customer layout for dynamicUILayout (replace
WEB-INF/xcm/customer/modification/layout-config.xml with the layout-c
onfig.xml attached to this note.
The layout-config.xml is contained in layout-config.zip
