Symptom
If a new IBase category has been created via the IMG, the component overview pages of a newly created IBase of this type will contain useless assignment blocks. For instance, an IBase text component overview page will contain an assignment block for product component specific data among others.

Solution
It is mandatory to maintain four configurations for each IBase type for view ‘IBMAIN/DetailsOverview’, here are examples of two delivered IBase categories (01) and their according configurations:
OVERVIEW <DEFAULT> <DEFAULT> IB151_IBASE 01 CRMBASIC X
OVERVIEW <DEFAULT> <DEFAULT> IB151_IBASE 01 CRMPRODUCT X
OVERVIEW <DEFAULT> <DEFAULT> IB151_IBASE 01 CRM_OBJECT X
OVERVIEW <DEFAULT> <DEFAULT> IB151_IBASE 01 IBASE X
Please copy these configurations available in the in the WebUI configuartion tab of view ‘IBMAIN/DetailsOverview’ and replace the IBase category mark (01) with the newly created IBase category mark. This should leave you with a maximum of four additional entries such as (where XY is the new category you just created). The subtypes (CRMBASIC, CRMPRODUCT, CRM_OBJECT, IBASE) which can be selected are defined in the IBase IMG node: “Installed Base Category->Define Installed Base Category and Installation Rules”. According to this customizing, you might only need to maintain a subset of the entries below:
