Symptom

In Marketing, when the user enters incorrect date periods, an error message ‘Planned end must be later than planned start’ or ‘Pre-dip end date must be later than the Pre-dip start date’ is displayed although, the rule is that the ’start’ and the ‘end’ dates could be equal.

Solution

In order to change the text of the error messages perform the
following manual steps:
In CRM SAP GUI
1. Open transaction SE91.2. For ‘Message class’ enter CRM_MKTPL_CGPL.3. Select ‘Messages’ radio button and for ‘Number’ enter 014.4. Click on ‘Change’ button.5. Change the text of message 14 to ‘End date must be later or equal to start date’.6. Save.

Repeat the above steps for
Message class CRM_MKTPL_TPM_DATEMessage number 002Change the text to ‘&1 end date must be later or equal to &1 start date’
